2026-03-25 BOE Meeting Legal Notice

March 30, 2026

At the March 25, 2026 Green Brook Board of Education Meeting, the following payments and purchases were approved by Board Resolution:

• RESOLVED, the Board of Education approves the payment of charter school tuition for two students to Thomas Edison Energysmart Charter School in the amount of $35,472.
   
• WHEREAS, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-5(a)(5) exempts educational goods and services from public advertising and bidding and;
  
  WHEREAS the Collaborative Classroom ELA curriculum materials are proprietary and available only from the Center for the Collaborative Classroom, therefore;
  
  BE IT RESOLVED, the Board of Education approves the purchase of  ELA curriculum programming resources from the Center for the Collaborative Classroom in the amount not to exceed $101,763.20 during the 2025-2026 school year.
   
• RESOLVED, the Board of Education approves architect fees in the amount of $32,000 to Parette Somjen Architects, LLC, for the purpose of providing schematics, applications, design, documentation, and procurement services for the GBMS bleacher replacement project.
   
• RESOLVED, the Board of Education approves the purchase, retroactive to March 19, 2026, of entry cameras and intercoms from Bluum USA, Inc. under the Hunterdon County ESC Co-Op (HCESC-CAT-23-07), not to exceed $6,000.
   
• RESOLVED, the Board of Education approves the purchase, retroactive to March 19, 2026, of installation and integration services for entry cameras and intercoms from Bluum USA, Inc., under the Ed-Data Services Co-Op (bid 12297/13354), not to exceed $17,000.
