The Green Brook Township Board of Education is seeking qualified candidates to fill a vacancy on the Board. This is an exceptional opportunity for a committed individual to contribute to the educational advancement of our community.

Responsibilities:
The Board of Education is responsible for the overall governance of the school district. Duties include:

• Establishing policies and strategic priorities for the district.
• Approving the annual budget and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Hiring and evaluating the Superintendent of Schools.
• Advocating for the needs of students, staff, and the community.
• Maintaining a strong commitment to academic excellence and equity.

Qualifications:
Candidates for the Board of Education must meet the following criteria:

• Be a United States citizen.
• Be a resident of Green Brook Township for at least one year.
• Be able to read and write.
• Be registered to vote in the district.
• Not hold any other elected office or be employed by the district.
• Complete a background check within 30 days of appointment.
