“A child is a person who is going to carry on what you have started. He is going to sit where you are sitting, and when you are gone, attend to those things which you think are important.  You may adopt all the policies you please, but how they are carried out depends on him.  He will assume control of your cities, states, and nations.  He is going to move in and take over your church, schools, universities, and corporations…the fate of humanity is in his hands.”Abraham Lincoln

As principal, it is important to me that everyone who steps through our doors – staff, students, and parents – is happy and excited to be here! This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing learning environment.

I am fortunate to join teachers who love children and thrive on helping them succeed. We will work diligently to become teams of educators who work together to provide the right supports for each student’s success. I recognize that parents are our students’ first and best teachers, and as such need to be a critical part of our educational team. We look forward to working with you in order to give each child that comes through our door each morning the best educational experience possible. I encourage all of our parents to be actively involved in their children’s schooling. Parent involvement can include asking your child about his or her day, helping with homework, communicating with teachers, attending school events, and coming into school as a volunteer.

I believe Green Brook has a strong faculty, an outstanding PTO, and wonderful and caring community.  Together, we create a child-centered learning community where students achieve maximum growth in academics, creativity, and social awareness. We recognize that our futures rest in the hands of our children, and we have tremendous responsibility to help our children strive for excellence. Green Brook Middle School is a great place to be, and I’m glad we’re all here together.
